Indulge in the luxury and tranquillity of Treetop Retreat, located in the charming village of Wooloweyah, situated on Lake Wooloweyah, with world class surfing beaches, the blue and green pools and a cafe/wine bar within a couple of kilometres. It is less than 10 minutes from Yamba's CBD and there is a courtesy bus to the Yamba Pacific Hotel which boasts one of the best ocean views in Australia.
This spacious retreat is well appointed with all the conveniences and comforts you could desire for your holiday. Both levels have large, covered veranda's that overlook the treetops and natural rainforest containing over 60 native plant species, and home to the cute fluffy tailed Squirrel Glider. Shine the light through the treetops at night, and there is a chance you may get to see one!
The upper-level features polished hardwood floors with high ceilings and large light filtering windows. Master bedroom is spacious with a king size bed, veranda access and ensuite with toilet and shower. The second bedroom contains 2 single beds that can be converted into a king bed on request. The fully equipped open plan kitchen leads out to a large living and dining area. A 2nd toilet is available for easy entertaining upstairs.
As you descend the stairs to the lower level you will enter the second living area, featuring a sofa couch that can convert to a double bed. The sliding doors leading from the living area take you out onto the second covered balcony. Both the third and fourth bedrooms provide queen size beds. The bathroom includes a shower, there is a separate toilet, and the laundry includes a washing machine.
There is a double garage with internal access and ample off-street boat parking for those that wish to enjoy the great fishing in the lake, river and ocean. There is a boat launching area a short walk down the road.
Whether you want to kayak, surf, bushwalk, fish, bike ride, jump off the rock pool edges or just sit back relax and enjoy the treetop peace, there is something for everyone at Treetop Retreat and it's surrounds.
